Greetings Black Secret Progressives,
We have some amazing news and forthcoming events to share with you. First off, as we enter the month of August (2024), so much has been happening here in the UK. While Paris may have been celebrating the Olympic Games and capturing world-wide attention in the process. Here in London, at the grass roots level, we once again celebrated an important Cultural Day at the start of August, 1st Mosiah Day, in celebration of Marcus Garvey and in furtherance of the Reparations cause. A new tradition and event, the annual Reparation March has given a voice for those seeking Reparations justice. Organised by The Afrikan Emancipation Day Reparations Movement, the people spoke truth to power, demanding for Reparations to be given and Justice to be done, bringing many hundreds of people ( if not in the thousand plus range ) from all over the world, to gather and congregate in Brixton’s Windrush Square in South London. Before on mass taking to the streets and marching in song and solidarity from the heart of South London to the heart of the British Parliament at 10 Downing Street, where a petition was handed to the front door of the UK Prime Minister’s office.
Reparation March: Demonstrators Walking in Power.
The Reparation March and Gathering is a beautiful event which is helping to bring people from all over the Diaspora together, and is making a difference in educating and raising awareness, and pushing the Reparations cause forward.

Thursday 8th of August saw the start of my Art exhibition at Brixton Library called Drawing on Silk. The launch was kicked off with a Private View that was well attended.
